      Away with cigarettes, diligent exercise, avoid eating unhealthy foods and always monitor your waist circumference. You probably have often listened to this advice. On several occasions seminars or lectures about healthy way of life would have mentioned these four tips. Some of us already do it with discipline but others ignore. Did you know that if you implement these four tips with discipline then you will avoid the risk factors suffered a fatal chronic illness as much as 80%?
Many studies mention that those who implement healthy lifestyle in their everyday will be spared from some chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart disease. The latest research will be undertaken in Germany with takes sample of 23,513 adults aged between 35 to 65 years. Research began in the mid 90s. Factors of interest included weight and height, history of previous illness, and the foods they eat. Four healthy lifestyle they should follow during the eight years of the study are:
• No smoking.
• Exercise at least 3.5 hours per week.
• Maintain body mass index (BMI) less than 30
• Consumption of healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, bread and reducing meat.
After the research work, most respondents do only one of four habit and only 9% who do it all.
After changing the pattern of life that affect the occurrence of disease, the researchers concluded that those who follow the four healthy lifestyle that will reduce the risk of chronic disease as much as 78%. The details are as follows:
• The risk of suffering from type 2 diabetes decreased by 93%.
• The risk of heart disease decreased by 81%.
• The risk of suffering from stroke decreased by 50%.
• The risk of cancer decreased by 36%.
The study also mentioned that the younger the habit is done then the results will be more satisfactory. So if you want to always healthy, immediately do the four tips above.
